''तहाँ, तहाँ, तहाँ ? -मँझिला कहलक। ई सुन के सँझिला डाँटकई - ''मइया ता कहलकियो हल?'’ अंत में छोटका जोर से कहलक कि ''हम तो तुप्पे-तुप्प।'' एहनी सन के ई तरह से बतियइते सुनके अगुअवन तो दंग रह गेलन । उनकर बोली सुन के ऊ जान गेलन कि लइकन काहे न बोलइत हलन। अब तो ऊ खाय-पीये ला भी न चाहलन । नेहा के अप्पन छड़ी, छाता माँगलन आउ घर के रसता नापलन।
