एगो सिआर आउ ऊँट में बड़ी इयारी हल। एक रोज दुनों बतिअयलन कि इयार कहीं फूँट खाय चले के चाहीं । ऊँटवा कहलक कि ''हम तो कहीं देखवे नऽ कैलियो हे। तू देखले हें, तो चल !'' दूनो चललन तो रस्ता में एगो नदी मिलल। ओकरा में भरल पानी हल से सिअरवा के पार होवे में मोसकिल होवे लगल। तऽ ऊँटवा कहलक कि हमर पीठिया पर तू बइठ जो! सियार ऊँटवा के पीठ पर बइठ गेल आउ नदी पार हो गेल। ऊ पार गेल, तो देखलक कि नदी के दलकी में खूब ककड़ी फरल हे। फूटो फूट के छितरायल हे। दूनो इयार रात में परेम से खूब फूट खयलन। सिअरवा के जल्दी पेट भर गेल, तो ऊ कहलक कि ''हमरा तो इयार 'भूकवास' लगलो हे !'' ऊँटवा कहलक कि ''तनी दम धर, भाग के खेतवा से दूर चल जयवो, तो भूकिहें!''

बाकि सिअरवा काहे ला माने जाय। ऊ तो खाके अफरल जाइत हलै। रहले नऽ गेल, से ऊ लगल 'हुआँ-हुआँ' करे। ओकर अवाज सुनके मँड़इया में सूतल अगोरवा उठ गेल आउ उठौलक बोंग। मार बोंग-मार बोंग ऊँटवा के हालत खराब कर देलक। सिअरा तो छरप के भाग गेल। ऊँटवा लँगड़ाइत-लँगड़ाइत नदी किनारे पहुँचल। हिऔं सिअरवा आसा में बइठल हल। कहलक कि इयार अब जे होयल से होयल, से घरे चले के चाहीं। ऊँट नदी में हेलल पार होवे ला, तो सिअरवा ओकर पीठ पर बइठ गेल। बीच नदी में पहुँचल तो ऊँटवा कहलक कि इयार अब हमरा 'लोटवास' आवइत हवऽ। लाठी के मार से देह टूटल हवऽ। लोटे से कुछ दरद दूर होतो। सिअरवा लगल घिघिआय कि ''तनियक आउ ओते चलऽ। किनरवा पर चल के लोटिहँऽ!'' ऊँटवा कहलक कि ''तोरो तो हम कहलिवऽ हले, कि खेतवा से दूर चलके भूकिहँऽ!'' एतना कहके ऊँटवा बीचे नदी के पानी में लगल लोटे। सिआर राम तो पानी में दहा के मर गेलन, आउ ऊँट गते-गते नदी पार होके लँगड़इते-लँगड़इते घरे पहुँचल। ठीके कहल गेल हे कि ओछ से परेम न करे के चाहीं!

Once there were a fox and a camel who were great friends. One day, they decided that they should go somewhere to eat. The camel said, "I have never seen anywhere. If you've seen it, then let's go!" As both began their journey, they encountered a river on the way. The water was deep, and the fox was having trouble crossing it. The camel suggested, "Just sit on my back!" The fox climbed onto the camel's back, and they crossed the river. Once they crossed, the fox saw that there were plenty of cucumbers scattered around the riverbank. They were ripe and spread all over. Both friends feasted on the cucumbers all night long. When the fox filled his stomach quickly, he said, "I am feeling 'hunger pangs' now!" The camel replied, "Just hold your breath a bit, let's move far away from the field, and then you'll feel hungry!"

But the fox paid no heed to this. He was so filled that he started making noise. Hearing his cries, a farmer who was sleeping nearby woke up and grabbed his stick. He began to hit the camel, which made the camel quite uncomfortable. The fox quickly ran away. The camel, limping, reached the riverbank. Here, the fox was sitting in despair. He said, "Friend, what's done is done; we should go home." The camel waded into the river, and the fox climbed onto his back again. When they reached the middle of the river, the camel remarked, "Friend, I am feeling 'nauseous' now. My body is aching due to the stick hits. The nausea will go away by splashing in the water." The fox pleaded, “Just move a little further and splash! Let’s splash on the island!" The camel retorted, "I had told you to move farther away from the field, then you would have felt hungry!" Saying this, the camel plunged into the river, and the fox drowned. The camel, limping and struggling, managed to cross the river and reach home. It is rightly said that one should not become too friendly with the foolish!
