Once upon a time, there was a boy named Laal who was the son of a king. His mother was searching for a groom for him and called the boatmen and Brahmins. The girl’s representatives did not sit down with the writing. So, the boatmen and Brahmins sat by the riverbank, ate their meal, and tossed the remains into the river. On the other side of the river, another boy was searching and the boatmen and Brahmins sat and ate, then threw the remains into the river. When the remains started to dance in the water, the boys asked what was going on that the leftovers were dancing in the river. They said that they had come looking for the boy named Laal. Later, both sides arranged for a marriage and all festivities began.

A few days later, the engagement took place, and the marriage was celebrated. Kings from all over the world attended the wedding. After the marriage, the couple went into the bridal chamber. Many fairies also came among the guests. When the king’s son entered the bridal chamber alone, all the fairies came together and carried him away to a forest. When the queen entered the bridal chamber, she began to weep bitterly. Everyone started wondering why the girl was crying. When someone asked her why she was crying, she said that the king was not with her on the bed. There was a commotion among the guests. However, they blamed the girl and said they would take her to the kitchen for cooking. The girl replied that she would distribute food for twelve years before going to her in-laws. The guests returned, and the girl stayed in a small room and began distributing food.

One day, two travelers were passing through the forest and saw a king sleeping on a beautiful bed. Four fairies sat on the bed’s corners. Whenever they felt like it, they would revive the king and whenever they felt like it, they would kill him. When they felt like killing, they would position a soft pillow under his head and revive him when they felt like it. The travelers sat in a bush watching all of this. As they continued on their way, they noticed that a berry bush was growing on the path. The two travelers decided to stay where the food was being distributed and leave in the morning. They spent the night there, talking about how they had never seen anything like this before, that a pillow would revive a man while a soft pillow could lead him to death.

The queen overheard their conversation and asked them what they had been talking about. She said that if they showed her, she would give them half of her kingdom. The travelers took the queen into the forest. They saw the four fairies sitting at the corners of the bed. They hid in the bushes. The girl saw that the fairies fed the king’s son lots of sweets and then left after killing him. Then the queen went to the king and said that now she would stay with him. The king said that the fairies would kill her, so she should go away. The queen, following his advice, hid in another forest. The travelers returned home.

Then the four fairies gathered and asked the king whether there were any humans there, as they could smell something. The king said that there were no humans there. The fairies insisted on taking him to another forest. The king replied that he would go to another forest only if they brought him a bouquet of flowers. They brought him a bouquet of flowers. Then the fairies took the prince along with the bed and dropped a flower along the way. They took the king and placed him in a flower garden. Meanwhile, the queen was picking flowers and reached the king, hiding when she saw the fairies. The fairies then killed the king while eating and flew away. The queen revived him and said that now she had come here to stay. Now, what shall I say?

They saw that a huge tree was being taken away. The queen then said quickly to make her into a wooden man. The tree had all the necessary materials. So, he quickly made a wooden man. The king placed the wooden man on the bed and they both left from there. On their way, they spotted a hermit’s hut. The king’s son told the hermit everything and pleaded with him to let them stay with him for the night. The hermit hid them.

When the fairies arrived at the king’s house, they found no one there. They searched everywhere in the in-laws and the maternal home but couldn’t find the king’s daughter or son. After four days, they returned to the hermit who had taken them in. When the daughter reached home, the king was very happy. The boy’s father also came to see and took his son back home. After a few days, the queen was married off and went to her in-laws. There, both individuals began to live happily.
