The story is about the friendship between a pebble and a leaf who support and protect each other from the elements, like wind and rain. They devise a plan to help one another in times of need, but when both the wind and rain come together, they are powerless to aid each other. Ultimately, the leaf gets blown away, and the pebble is washed away, symbolizing the impermanence of their bond and the unpredictability of nature. The tale invites readers to reflect on the transient nature of relationships and the inevitability of change.

Once there was a pebble, and once there was a leaf. As the wind blew, the leaf floated and reached close to the pebble. Living together, they developed a friendship. They began to think about what to do next. The pebble said, "Hey friend, if it rains, you can climb on me, and then I will be safe. And if the wind comes, I will climb on you!" In this way, they continually advised each other.

Once upon a time, both the wind and rain came together. Now neither of them could help the other. The wind blew the leaf away, and the rain washed the pebble away. The story was lost in the forest; understand it within yourself!
